Weekend?

This weekend is a perfect time to set back and enjoy the smell of roses. If there were roses in bloom that is, lol. I hope everyone is not too covered in snow. Take time this weekend to relax and take in the peace that we often over look. God bless and have a great weekend!

Remember when?

Remember when you could sleep all day, or enjoy a rainy day with a book? Or the last time you closed your eyes and daydreamed? These are the moments that we loose track of. Those glimpses of "me time" seem to become the past when you have children. Some days I feel like I could hide out and sleep, but now with a 2yr old sleep is definantly not on my "to do list." Today's goal should be to carve a little you time out in your day. Whether its 10min or 1hr. I will try to do the same. God bless

Brick walls

Have you ever had a day where you felt like you were hitting a brick wall? It has become something I am completely acquainted with. Having a 2yr old is sure stressful! But I look at all Faith has done for me and realize that this "brick wall" is just a phase in our lives. Three years ago I didn't even think about being a parent, it wasn't possible. God said open your eyes and your heart and I will give you your hearts desire. So even if today I continually feel like I'm talking to myself and yes maybe feel like banging my head against said brick wall. I know that I am blessed.....
                   Live your life to the fullest even when you feel like 24hours is a long time. Smile when you feel like crying and laugh when your sad. Know that tomorrow is just a day away, and the sun will come up again. :)

As the saying goes....

"Today is the first day or the rest of my life." I have been thinking for awhile about blogging; mainly because I like to hear myself talk as i'm writing. (lol) I feel like I don't make a large enough difference in my life and could do more so therefore I want to make someones day. I want to know that people can read my quotes and helpful hints and smile. In today's world there is a lot of things wrong but there is still a lot of things right too.
